The Silver Service is an eight-week engagement that sets your organisation on the path to becoming IR35 compliant. Your dedicated consulting team will assess your organisation for compliance and then provide bespoke strategies to start your journey towards IR35 compliance. We will provide your organisation with the knowledge and strategies of IR35; facilitating your organisations commencement of its journey towards IR35 compliance.
The Silver Service is aimed at more complex organisations that have more varied ways of working across departments and prefer to implement new strategies with limited assistance from outside consultants. The Service begins collaboratively as nobody knows your organisation like you but then allows you to implement your bespoke strategies at a pace that suits your organisation. Your IR35 Compliance team will initially work closely with you to create IR35 Compliance strategies that are bespoke for your organisation.

Stage 1: Initial Assessment
During the initial assessment we will use a combination of online questions and answers, telephone interviews and face-to-face interviews to assess where your organisation is on its path to IR35 Compliance.
Online Assessment
We will assess key people within your organisation using our bespoke, online assessment tool:
- Lead for contract personnel’s ways-of-working.
- Lead for contractor contracts.
- In-house and contractor Programme/Project Managers.
- Other contractor personnel.
Telephone Interviews
We will conduct telephone interviews with selected personnel to delve down into your people’s understanding of IR35 and how your organisation’s ways-of-working align to IR35 compliance.
Face-to-Face Interviews
We will conduct face-to-face interviews to gain a complete understanding of your people’s knowledge and experience of IR35, how your organisation’s ways-of-working align to IR35 compliance and progress made towards IR35 compliance.
Report
We will provide you with a report that shows your current alignment to the key determining factors of IR35. The report will look at your ways-of-working and provide bespoke steps to work towards IR35 compliance.
Stage 2: Initiate Journey to IR35 Compliance
IR35 Compliance is not about a certificate, it’s a journey to a new way of working. Our consultants will work with your team to develop bespoke strategies and then ensure that you are prepared to undertake them.
Retrospective
We will come on site to discuss each of your reports:
- Your assessment against the key determining factors of IR35 and how your knowledge has advanced.
- Bespoke steps to advance you on your journey towards IR35 compliance.
- Possible options for further assistance.

Conduct Workshop
We will conduct a workshop to help you along your IR35 compliance journey. Initial workshops aim creating a bespoke set of actions for your company; based on our knowledge/experience and your existing ways of working/corporate identity. Where applicable, subsequent workshops will refine the approach, suggest ways around issues and ensure you remain on track for your journey to IR35 compliance.
Contractor Interview
One of our consulting team will conduct an interview with some of your contractors; gathering information on contractual arrangements and working practises for future assessment against IR35 key factors.
Contractor Submissions
Your contractors will submit responses to our IR35 compliance online assessment.
Discuss Findings
One of our consulting team will discuss the findings to date with your representative and where appropriate, discuss next steps.
Draft Report
Our consultants will draft a report that identifies where your company is on its IR35 compliance journey.
Engagement Complete
Our engagement is complete. You will be on your way to IR35 compliance. We are, of course, available to assist further if required.
Interviews Complete
Our consultants have completed all of the interviews for this stage of the process.

Our consultants will interview your IT Director, or nominated person, to gain a deeper understanding of your company's operating model.
