The Platinum Service is a 10-month engagement that walks your organisation through the process of becoming IR35 compliant. Your dedicated consulting team will assess your organisation for compliance and then, through ongoing workshops and interviews, guide your organisation towards IR35 compliance. We will work collaboratively to establish the IR35 compliance strategies that work for your organisation and then we will implement them together.

The Platinum Service is aimed at multi-department organisations that may have different ways of working or organisations that are setting up new departments/project teams and prefer to collaborate on new strategies with knowledgeable consultants. The Service is very collaborative as nobody knows your organisation like you. We will advance on an IR35 Compliance journey together. Your IR35 Compliance team will be working closely with you to implement IR35 Compliance strategies that are bespoke for your organisation.

Stage 1: Initial Assessment

During the initial assessment we will use a combination of online questions and answers, telephone interviews and face-to-face interviews to assess where your organisation is on its path to IR35 Compliance.

Online Assessment

We will assess key people within your organisation using our bespoke, online assessment tool:

  • Lead for contract personnel’s ways-of-working.
  • Lead for contractor contracts.
  • In-house and contractor Programme/Project Managers.
  • Other contractor personnel.
Telephone Interviews

We will conduct telephone interviews with selected personnel to delve down into your people’s understanding of IR35 and how your organisation’s ways-of-working align to IR35 compliance.

Face-to-Face Interviews

We will conduct face-to-face interviews to gain a complete understanding of your people’s knowledge and experience of IR35, how your organisation’s ways-of-working align to IR35 compliance and progress made towards IR35 compliance.

Report

We will provide you with an initial report that shows your current alignment to the key determining factors of IR35. The report will deep dive into your ways-of-working in multiple projects/departments, assessing any disparities between project teams/departments and providing bespoke steps to work towards IR35 compliance.

Stage 2: Initiate Journey to IR35 Compliance

IR35 Compliance is not about a certificate, it’s a journey to a new way of working. Our consultants will work with your team to develop bespoke strategies and assist you with implementing them to drive IR35 Compliance for your organisation.

Workshop

We will conduct a workshop immediately after the face-to-face interviews. This will usually be before the initial report so that you can set off on the path to IR35 compliance. The workshop is a mix of knowledge transfer and attendee focused exercises, tailored to your organisation. Your team will leave the workshop with a greater knowledge of IR35 and a set of strategies to implement.

Implementation Period

Your team will implement the strategies developed during the workshop. In-house retrospectives will assess what is working, what isn’t working and how to amend the strategies to continue the IR35 Compliance journey. Our team are available remotely to assist as required and provide support and advice.

Face-to-Face Interviews

We will conduct face-to-face interviews to measure progress made towards IR35 compliance.

Report

We will provide you with a report that assesses your progress towards IR35 compliance.

Stage 3: IR35 Compliance Maturity

We are now well along the journey to a new way of working. Our consultants will work with your team to refine and add to the strategies to achieve IR35 Compliant behaviours.

Implementation Period

Your team will continue to implement the strategies; realigned for knowledge gained to-date. In-house retrospectives will continue to provide feedback and realign you towards your goals. Our team are available remotely to assist as required and provide support and advice.

Face-to-Face Interviews

We will conduct face-to-face interviews to measure progress made towards IR35 compliance.

Workshop

We will conduct a second workshop immediately after the second set of face-to-face interviews to review how the strategies have been implemented to date; enhancing the ones that have gone well and refining the ones that need improvement.
